Tara High School’s Public Service & Leadership Academy prepares students to become engaged citizens, effective leaders, and future professionals committed to making a positive impact in their communities. Through a rigorous, student-centered curriculum, students develop critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while exploring careers in public service, government, community leadership, and related fields.

Students participate in leadership development, civic engagement, and career-readiness activities that emphasize ethical decision-making, teamwork, professionalism, and service to others. Through project-based learning, college and career preparation, and opportunities for real-world experiences, students build the knowledge and skills needed to lead with integrity, serve their communities, and succeed in college and the workforce.
